This year’s recipient of the Helen Lee Memorial Scholarship — a $2000 award — was unanimously chosen by all the coaches.
This player has consistently demonstrated tremendous character and resilience in the face of adversity. Despite academic or personal challenges, this individual has not only persevered but thrived. Even with these hurdles, he remained committed — showing up for every Rockits event, including the Chinese New Year Parade and the 3-on-3 Tournament.
It is with great pride that we congratulate Jordan Yip of the University Boys Team as the winner of this year’s Helen Lee Memorial Scholarship.
Jordan embodies the values that the Rockits Organization stands for — dedication, perseverance, and hard work. He is a great example of the kind of individual we hope all our members aspire to become.
